A. The original Kapiladeva is the 5th incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead as stated in the Srimad-Bhagavatam: SB 3.25.1: r aunaka said: Although He is unborn, the Supreme Personality of Godhead took birth as Kapila Muni by His internal potency. He descended to disseminate transcendental knowledge for the benefit of the whole human race. SB 2.7.3: The Lord then appeared as the Kapila incarnation, being the son of the praj pati br hman a Kardama and his wife, Devah ti, along with nine other women [sisters]. Q. What does "Jai Guru Deva Om" mean in the Beatles song "Across the Universe"?

A. The words "Jai Gur Dev-a" can actually be interpreted and translated two ways. In one respect, "Guru Deva" can refer to a teacher, literally "teacher god." However, the word "guru" can also mean something like "great" or "heavy." In this case "guru deva" would mean something like "great god." The multiple interpretations may have appealed to Lennon's pleasure in word play. "Jai" means something like "hail" or "praise" and is used in many different sacred and secular contexts. The "om" that follows is the mystic syllable… [cont.]

A. There was always fight between devas and asuras. The devas has got God's approval to give boon to the persons who do meditations in order to get boon. Devas appear on appreciation and awards boon. They don't mind the consequencies. They are facing the consequencies and run to the supreme Gods for help.
